Six apps, one farmer record
Every Digifarmer app now runs on one shared backend, Digifarmer Connect, so a farmer registered once is known to every service we offer. This month we are completing the move of all six apps onto it.

The problem we were solving
Digifarmer grew one app at a time: an app for agents, an app for farmers, another for fresh produce, and so on. Each worked, but each kept part of the farmer's story. A soil test lived in one place, an input order in another, a loan request in a third. To build credit, insurance or market services, we need the whole story in one place.

The six apps
• DigiAgent — village agents. Register farmers, book soil tests, take orders.
• Digifarmer — farmers. Farm records, soil results, advice, wallet.
• DigiFresh — buyers and farmers. Fresh-produced market access.
• Service — service providers. Tractors, transport and other farm services.
• Finance — lenders and insurers. KYC, vouchers, loans, insurance.
• Inputs — input sellers. Seeds, fertilizer and agro-chemicals.

What sits underneath
Digifarmer Connect brings together the data and tools all six apps share:
• Satellite and soil intelligence — Satellite data and Digifarmer soil data, plus support for in-field soil sensors
• Farmer identity and finance — KYC, digital wallets, vouchers, loans and insurance
• Markets and logistics — the produce market, transport booking and input shop
• Smart tools — AI advisory on subscription and farm calculators

Building faster and safer with AI
We used AI-assisted engineering to review and merge months of development across the six apps. The review caught logic and security issues before launch, not after farmers were using the system. It also let a small team do the work of a much larger one.
Why this matters to investors
• One farmer, many revenue lines. Each new service plugs into the same farmer record, so the cost of launching it is small.
• Better data, better products. Soil, satellite, transaction and repayment data together make credit scoring and insurance possible.
• Built to scale. One backend is easier to secure, maintain and take into new countries.
