Focus on Youth and Women

At Agrosahas and Digifarmer, we place young women and men at the center of agricultural transformation.

We recognize that many young people face barriers such as limited access to land, finance, agricultural training, technology and reliable markets. We also recognize that women often face additional challenges linked to traditional gender roles and limited access to productive resources.

Through the Digifarmer agent model, we are creating opportunities for youth and women to become local agricultural service providers. Equipped with digital tools such as tablets, our agents support farmers with registration, training, advisory services, input access, market information and aggregation support.

Through this approach, we are helping bridge the digital divide while creating new employment and enterprise opportunities at the village level. By empowering youth and women as agents, processors, farmers and agripreneurs, we are building a more inclusive, technology-enabled and resilient agricultural ecosystem.

Why this matters?
This matters because the future of agriculture depends on making the sector attractive, profitable, and accessible for young people and women. When youth and women are equipped with technology, training and market opportunities, they become drivers of innovation, service delivery and rural enterprise growth.

We want investors to view our youth and women focus as a scalable impact and employment model. Through Digifarmer agents, we are not only supporting farmers, but also creating a new generation of rural agribusiness service providers. This model allows us to expand reach, reduce the digital divide, create jobs and build stronger last-mile agricultural networks.
For investors, this means their support can help scale a business that delivers financial, social and gender-inclusive impact at the same time.
