Sustainable Farming
Farmer Training and Capacity Building
In April, we successfully trained 1,500 farmers on improved agricultural practices, better input usage, and productivity-focused farming methods. These trainings were designed to give farmers practical knowledge they can apply directly in their farms, including how to make better decisions on inputs, improve farm management, and increase productivity. This matters because many smallholder farmers still face challenges related to limited technical knowledge, poor input usage, and low access to timely agricultural information. By strengthening farmer capacity at the grassroots level, we are helping farmers improve yields, reduce avoidable losses, and build more sustainable farming practices. The training also deepened our engagement with farming communities and strengthened trust in our farmer support model. The key data point is that 1,500 farmers were trained during the reporting period of April.
