Sustainable Farming
Farmer Engagement & Field Meetings
In March, Digifarmer strengthened farmer engagement through organized field meetings and community-based interactions across key farming regions. These sessions played a critical role in bridging the gap between technology and on-the-ground farming practices. Farmers received hands-on training on how to use the Digifarmer app, access advisory services, and apply climate-smart farming techniques.
The meetings also created an opportunity for farmers to share feedback, challenges, and insights, helping improve the platform and tailor services to real farmer needs. By combining digital tools with physical engagement, Digifarmer ensures higher adoption, trust, and impact among smallholder farmers. This approach strengthens the last-mile delivery model and enhances the effectiveness of agricultural extension services, positioning Digifarmer as a reliable partner in improving productivity, resilience, and livelihoods across Africa’s farming communities.
